Dear PRI Staff,
We want update you on the COVID situation on Campus.
We are happy to report that there are no new cases. Our surveillance testing over the past two days has uncovered no new COVID-positive results.
With that, daily surveillance testing of students is no longer required at this time.
Students whose symptoms are resolving have returned to the community and will continue to mask for 10 days from symptom onset.
Close contacts of COVID-positive individuals are also asked to continue masking for 10 days.
We do encourage all staff members to continue with our surveillance testing protocol, which is especially important during cold/flu season:
- Full-time staff are asked to rapid test twice weekly – at the beginning and midway through your weekly shift
- Part-time staff are asked to rapid test prior to the commencement of their shift
- Should you have a positive test but remain asymptomatic you can continue working but must wear a mask for 10 days from the time of your positive test. If symptoms develop, you will go home until symptoms have been resolving for 24 hours.
As always, thank you for supporting the community with continuing agility as the situation requires.
