Dear PRI Staff,
We would like to inform you that a member of our Staff team has tested positive for COVID-19.
The Staff member last worked on the weekend. We have reason to believe there was potential high-risk contact with students on Team 2 and Team 5.
WDG Public health has been alerted and with their guidance, the following is now underway:
- We are in the process of directly contacting any potential high-risk staff contacts
- Team 2 and Team 5 are being PCR tested this evening
- SOMP will be initiated for Team 2 and Team 5 and will be in place to January 12
- Programming planning is underway currently and you will be contacted directly regarding the changes if you are directly involved with those teams
We will continue to carefully monitor the situation, remain in close touch with Public Health, and update you as soon as we have more information to share.
As a reminder, PLEASE be vigilant in maintaining the safety protocols. That means ALWAYS wearing a mask and visor while within 2 metre proximity of students and fellow staff.
