Christina is the psychotherapist for Pine River’s new BRANCH program based in downtown Toronto. She has practiced psychotherapy and art therapy for the past 15 years in treatment centres, hospitals and schools. Prior to becoming a therapist, she worked as an art instructor and camp counsellor for the City of Toronto where her passion for connecting with children, youth and families first emerged. Christina completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at York University with an honours double major in Visual Arts and Psychology and a minor in Philosophy, and went on to complete her Master’s degree at Concordia University in Creative Arts Therapies – Art Therapy.

In her free time, Christina enjoys hiking, camping, canoeing, and spending time in nature. She also enjoys any opportunity to be creative from painting, photography, sewing and costume creation, to cooking, and playing music. Christina’s primary approach in therapy is humanistic, with a deep respect for people and their experiences. She is passionate about collaborating with her clients to reach their goals by supporting their therapeutic journeys.
