Supporting young people through anxiety – Amanda Lamb on the Exception Seekers podcast

Pine River Institute’s Centre for Family Initiatives Director, Amanda Lamb, recently joined Colleen McLean on the Exception Seekers podcast for a thoughtful conversation about anxiety, emotional regulation and resilience in young people.

Drawing on her years of clinical experience working with youth and families at Pine River Institute, Amanda explores anxiety through a developmental lens. Using clear and relatable analogies, she discusses how children and adolescents gradually learn to understand and manage anxiety, and how the adults around them can better support that process.

The conversation reflects the kind of knowledge Pine River Institute works to extend through its Centre for Family Initiatives — sharing practical insights with families, educators and professionals supporting youth.
