As a corporate lawyer at Oxford Properties Group, the real estate investment arm of OMERS, Ms Fellows advises Oxford on a broad range of complex real estate transactions, development projects and general corporate law matters across all asset classes in Canada, the US, Europe and Asia Pac. She is the lead lawyer on the US $25 billion Hudson Yards project in New York City.
Prior to joining Oxford, Ms Fellows spent eight years as a student and lawyer practicing at Goodmans LLP, gaining experience advising multinational clients on a broad range of commercial real estate and corporate law matters.
Ms Fellows holds a Bachelor of Science from Queens University and an LL.B from the University of Western Ontario. In 2019 she was named a Leading Lawyer Under 40 by Lexpert magazine. Ms Fellows was also named to The Legal 500 GC Powerlist: Canada for 2016-2017 and 2019-2020, a list recognizing the most influential and innovative in-house corporate counsel in the country. In 2016 she was a recipient of the Women in Build Awards, recognizing her dedication and creativity in a typically male-dominated industry. Ms Fellows serves as Oxford’s Inclusion and Diversity Business Champion and sits on the steering committee of the OMERS Women’s Employee Resource Group. She is part of Women General Counsel of Canada and is an active mentor to young women in the real estate and legal communities.
