Jonathon Zarb

Jonathon joins Pine River Institute with five years of experience working with  adolescents and teens in Australia. Most recently he spent the last three years working in a Hospital setting where he provided spiritual and emotional support to patients, family and staff. He is also a therapist in private practice offering individual and couples therapy. 

Jonathon completed his Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Toronto majoring in Sexual Diversity Studies minoring in Sociology and Religion. He then completed his Master of Pastoral Studies with a certificate in Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy from Knox College at the University of Toronto. Jonathon is a Registered Psychotherapist within the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). 

Jonathon values creativity, diversity, inclusion and leadership; these values form the lens that he approaches his work with students, and their families, in the PRI community. 

Outside of work, Jonathon enjoys collecting and caring for his many house plants, gardening, cooking, bonfires, traveling and supporting live theatre.
