Land-based youth mental health and addiction facility now open - Manitoulin Expositor

Gwekwaadziwin Miikan opened the doors of its new land-based youth addiction and mental health facility in Little Current, Manitoulin Island on May 25. A recent article in the Manitoulin Expositor said the new program’s staff worked closely with PRI and “were able to adapt the Pine River model and integrate it into an Anishinabek culture-based program.” The team visited PRI campus and OLE in late April.
